This role is critical in ensuring the creation of comprehensive, high-quality business and technical proposals, aligned with client needs and organizational capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, business acumen, and exceptional communication skills to deliver impactful solutions that drive success.

Key Responsibilities

Business and Technical Proposal Development

  • Lead the development of comprehensive business and technical proposals, ensuring alignment with client requirements and eSpace’s capabilities.

  • Collaborate with technical teams, including the Head of Professional Services and Customer Satisfaction, the Head of Artificial Intelligence and Technology Strategy Office, and DevOps, to create solutions, logical diagrams, in-scope/out-of-scope items, assumptions, and estimates.

  • Review and challenge collected estimates and solutions to ensure feasibility, accuracy, and alignment with client needs.

  • Ensure all proposals are professionally formatted, complete, and ready for submission within established deadlines.

Proposal Oversight and Timeline Management

  • Maintain an overarching view of all active proposals, including deadlines and progress.

  • Develop and manage timelines and plans for each proposal, ensuring stakeholders complete their tasks on time.

  • Act as a central point of coordination, driving accountability and resolving bottlenecks to meet deadlines.

  • Provide regular updates to the Business Development Manager on proposal statuses and risks.

Collaboration Across Teams

  • Work closely with the Head of Professional Services and Customer Satisfaction, Head of Artificial Intelligence and Technology Strategy Office, and other technical leads to gather input, validate solutions, and finalize deliverables.

  • Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to ensure proposals align with eSpace’s branding and messaging strategies.

  • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and shared understanding of project requirements.

Business Development Process Enhancement

  • Design and implement standardized proposal templates and stencils to streamline proposal preparation and maintain consistency.

  • Develop a repository of reusable content for common proposal sections, such as solution descriptions, diagrams, and assumptions.

  • Identify and address gaps or inefficiencies in the business development cycle and propose actionable improvements.

Proposal Outcome Analysis and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

  • Track outcomes of all submitted proposals, including wins, losses, and deferrals, and gather feedback from clients and stakeholders.

  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for lost proposals, identifying key issues such as budget misalignment or technical gaps.

  • Collaborate with the Business Development Manager and technical teams to implement corrective actions for recurring issues.

  • Maintain a proposal performance dashboard to analyze trends and success rates.

Strategic Alignment

  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to ensure proposals remain competitive and aligned with client needs.

  • Provide input on eSpace’s service portfolio, pricing strategies, and market positioning.

  • Contribute to pre-sales activities, including client meetings, solution presentations, and requirement discussions.




Qualifications

  • Proposal Writing Experience: 5+ years of experience writing proposals.

  • Writing Skills: Exceptional writing, and proofreading skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.

  • Attention to detail: Experience in conducting compliance checks to ensure all requested documents, formats, and criteria are addressed.

  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of software development, system architecture, and DevOps processes to create viable technical solutions.

  • Business Acumen: Ability to align technical proposals with client business needs and eSpace’s strategic objectives.

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills to create professional proposals and effectively interact with stakeholders.

  • Project Management: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple proposals and stakeholders effectively.

  • Collaboration Skills: Strong interpersonal abilities to liaise with cross-functional teams and ensure alignment.

  • Analytical Thinking: Capacity to evaluate proposals, identify weaknesses, and implement improvements.
